We are an extremely athlete accountable program. Parents must drop off their athlete at the field and pick them up at the end of tryouts. If your tryout is indoors, parents are not permitted inside the facility.

We understand that you may have to make a commitment to your current club team before our tryouts, but hope to have you join our official tryouts on: Monday, June 24th 2024.. We may hold a second call back tryout, but that decision would be announced after our official tryout date.

If your athlete is chosen to be on NJC, you will receive the NJ CHALLENGE Welcome Packet. Within this packet you will see our overall projected schedule for the 2024-2025 season. You will receive the NJ CHALLENGE Code of Conduct packet for all parents to sign. This covers our parent expectations and policies at NJ CHALLENGE. You will receive the NJ CHALLENGE Code of Conduct packet for all athletes to sign. This covers our athlete expectations and policies at NJ CHALLENGE. Your three payment schedule will be in the NJ CHALLENGE Welcome Packet along with your payment portal. Items, clinics, and gear that are included will be in the NJ CHALLENGE Welcome Packet along with items that must be purchased. Tuition is not disclosed until an athlete is chosen for the NJC Program.

Challenge U. Softball® and NJ CHALLENGE are separate departments. Candidates are reminded that engagement in lessons, camps, and clinics hosted by Challenge U. Softball does not automatically secure a place on the NJ CHALLENGE team. Our commitment lies in selecting athletes based on their demonstrated merit and skill rather than their association with Challenge U. Softball alone. We firmly uphold fair and impartial selection methodologies, essential for cultivating a competitive and inclusive atmosphere within our organization. If you receive lessons at CU and you do not make the team, work hard with your trainer to build on the current skills that you have. Keep your head up, get gritty, and continue to put in the work.
