Our program mirrors the professionalism and values of NCAA-level softball, teaching athletes that they’re never too young to learn discipline, responsibility, and work ethic.
We intentionally remove the politics and favoritism often seen in youth sports - this isn’t parent ball. It’s a focused, high-level experience centered on athlete growth, both on and off the field.
NJ CHALLENGE was born from the home of the Challenge U. Softball® training facility located in Wyckoff NJ which is also the founding home of the National C.U.D.I.T.® Concentric Hitting Coach Certification. Since 2011 we have been dedicated to developing athletes through mental toughness and physical performance training.
Our athletes must be committed to raising their own bar through their journey in the game and their journey in their life. As challenges arise, our athletes are taught to embrace them and conquer them by having a growth mindset. Our athletes are taught to conquer their goals then raise a new bar for themselves as young women as we are forever developing and never plateauing on and off the field.
We expect an aggressive desire for victory in our athlete's personal goals and fast-pitch goals. Yet, our athletes are continally reminded that fast-pitch softball is a game and more importantly it is a forum we use to help our athletes mature into responsible, driven, hungry, focused, gritty, dedicated, strong, and confident adults; most importantly, good people.
