2026/2027 NJC 10U Development Overview & Tuition

At NJ CHALLENGE, we are committed to providing a premier, development-focused experience for young athletes who are ready to build a strong foundation in softball while developing confidence, accountability, and a love for the game.

Our 10U Development Program is specifically designed to provide quality instruction, age-appropriate competition, and confidence-building opportunities through a lighter year-round commitment than our older teams. The goal is to create a positive, supportive, and challenging environment where athletes can develop both on and off the field while preparing for future success within the NJC organization.

What sets the NJ Challenge 10U Development Program apart is that our tuition is not simply paying for uniforms, practices, and tournaments. Our program is built around developing the complete athlete while teaching the habits, confidence, communication skills, and accountability necessary for long-term success.

For the 2026-2027 season, NJ Challenge continues to expand its athlete development opportunities by providing specialized instruction, position-specific development, self-confidence training, and year-round access to professional coaching in an age-appropriate developmental environment.

• Indoor & Outdoor Team Practice Facility Rentals

• Specialized Hitting, Defensive, and Position-Specific Practices

• 3 Team Position-Specific Development Clinics (Fall, Winter & Spring) Featuring Pitching, Catching, Infield, and Outfield Training

• Annual NJ Challenge Media Day & Professional Player Photoshoot Experience

• VBS Mental Performance & Visualization Training

• Bi-Annual Athlete & Parent Development Events Featuring Guest Speaker Dr. Justin Garber, PsyD, Focused on Confidence Building, Positive Self-Talk, Resilience, Goal Setting, and Developing a Strong Growth Mindset

Our focus is development first. Through structured instruction, game experience, accountability systems, and confidence-building opportunities, we help athletes establish the foundation necessary for long-term success within the NJ Challenge program.

We pride ourselves on offering exceptional value while maintaining pricing that remains competitive with other premier softball organizations throughout the tri-state area.

Tuition & Payment Structure

The full tuition for the NJC 10U Development Program for the 2026-2027 season is $2,950.00.

This amount includes everything listed above.

​

To secure a roster spot, a non-refundable deposit of $550.00 is due upon signing the Player and Parent Contracts by the designated deadline.

The remaining balance will be split into two installments:

• $1,200.00 due September 4, 2026

• $1,200.00 due January 4, 2027

Tuition Policy

Tuition payments are non-refundable. By committing to a roster spot, families secure an athlete's place on the team, and NJ Challenge immediately allocates funds toward uniforms, tournament registrations, umpire fees, field rentals, facility rentals, coaching staff, player development resources, and operational expenses.

​

If a player or family chooses to leave the team after accepting a roster spot, the full tuition remains due regardless of participation. This policy allows NJ Challenge to continue providing the high level of coaching, development opportunities, training resources, and athlete support that define our program.

Additional Information

At NJC, we believe in complete transparency. While tuition covers the extensive athlete development experience outlined above, families are responsible for personal travel-related expenses associated with tournament weekends, including lodging, meals, and transportation.

Our goal is to provide quality competition while remaining mindful of family schedules and commitments. As a general guideline, NJ Challenge strives to keep tournament travel within approximately two hours of Bergen County whenever possible.
